Junior Golf Holiday Camp 21 October
A day of fun and learning to play golf! 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
Open to boys and girls of all ages with or without previous golfing experience. The Golf Learning System works beautifully across different age groups and golfing abilities all within the same group.
We have all the golf equipment to borrow if required.
About The Golf Camp
The day comprises of skill development in the morning on the range and putting green and then golf on the main course at Toft in the afternoon.
The days follow our fully structured programme The Golf Learning System with opportunities to complete grading levels and move to a more advanced level.
The schedule allows, children of different golf abilities to enjoy playing together but at their level. You can bring your golf clubs, but don’t worry, we have plenty of clubs for everyone if need be.
The Golf Learning System (GLS) comprises of eight levels and is unlike other coaching programmes.
On the range, they skills are short in distance and as they move through the grades the distances get longer. Each level tests a child to develop the golfing skill and better themselves mentally in order to pass and move up a grade.
Right from the off, the child will believe they can achieve, but unknowingly to them, it will demand an improvement in their skills to succeed.
Then on the golf course, just like the adults game, players of different skill levels can play and compete together. GLS does the same by having different length holes depending on the golfing ability of the child.
At Toft, we have five junior hole lengths on each hole on the front nine, before they reach the full-length holes starting with the red tees.
With no academy course, our juniors are walking the entire golf course from the very first time they set foot on a golf course.
In starting this way, the children never become phased because they know everything about playing the full-length course; unlike learning on an academy course.
