BOURNE GOLF CENTRE
The Indoor Golf Centre
Golfers of all levels can improve their game here.
Bourne Golf Centre is a year-round haven for golfers who want to develop and improve their game, or learners who want to take their first steps in golf.
Professional Golf Association (PGA) coach Darren Game helps all levels of players achieve their goals throughout the year in his indoor studio based in Bourne.
Hundreds of local golfers have benefitted from his expert tuition since he became a PGA professional in 1997 and even more have enjoyed regular one-to-one coaching sessions since the all-weather studio was set up in 2007.
It’s a sure way for people who are new to golf to take their first steps in private and, under Darren’s guidance, to learn the basic skills that will give them confidence in their ability from the first moment they set foot on a golf course.
It’s also ideal for experienced golfers who want to improve or need to tackle a problem shot. Darren coaches on every aspect of the game, from putting, short game techniques, getting out of sand, dealing with slope lies, and how to use irons, woods and drivers more effectively.
Major benefits by learning here
Inside the warm, modern studio, you will always strike the ball from a flat surface, always have perfect conditions, always have daylight, and always have visual aids to help you learn or improve.
Bourne Golf Centre is now registered as a services provider for people who are disabled or registered SEN by Lincolnshire County Council.
As part of our commitment to being a DEAFinitely Inclusive club all activities are deaf inclusive. Darren, also numbers British Sign Language (BSL) as a skill.
We offer sessions that are accommodating and inclusive to all. Bourne Golf Centre is a Lincolnshire Golf Disabled Coaching Centre, it is a ground level facility with parking straight in front and is accessible to wheelchairs with disabled toilet facilities.
Bourne Golf Centre utilises all the latest high definition technology to allow every golfer to see for themselves what is happening. HD video and video playback allows the golfer to see how they move and how their swing looks before and after adjustment and the newly installed golf simulator allows the ball flight to be projected on the 3.6 x 3m projection net.
It’s a valuable learning aid that makes an immediate and lasting impact on performance – and golfers can see how their technique improves lesson by lesson.
